1. International Clinical Fellowship

Our new International Clinical Fellowship Programme (ICFP) offers clinical training for international doctors who are sponsored by their Ministry of Health, Government, hospital, clinical institute or national training body. We offer ICFP training in all specialties, which is a unique opportunity to enhance and develop clinical skills. The ICFP is offered over one or two years and we sponsor the GMC applications.

2. Clinical Attachment (Hands-On)

Clinical Attachments (hands-on) are a unique and useful way for international doctors and medical graduates to get a valuable experience of practicing alongside NHS Trust clinical departments. It also allows them to gain an in-depth knowledge of medical processes and systems in the NHS, by getting involved in a relevant speciality. Our clinical attachments usually last between six to 48 weeks and all candidates should be GMC registered.

I feel privileged to witness one of the greatest healthcare systems in the world and the experience was simply amazing. My attachment was rewarding in all aspects. Starting the day shadowing consultants during ward rounds, getting handovers, consulting patients about management options and then discussing medical topics with junior doctors, it was exhilarating

I enjoyed my time and learned a lot. The people are welcoming and the teaching system is well developed. The best thing that inspired me the most is the approach PICU have with parents and the childish environment, which I find amazing here
