CSC AI Summer School 2026

The CSC AI Summer School provides NHS staff with practical training on developing, integrating, and evaluating AI solutions in healthcare, covering legal compliance, data handling, model training, and commercial AI assessment.

Aims

The purpose of the CSC AI Summer school is to share the practical know-how on development, testing, integrating and evaluating artificial intelligence solutions into the NHS.

Over this five-day course you will learn:

Format

All days will be held in-person across Guy’s Hospital and 10 Union Street, London. All days will be fully catered and will start at 10am and finish at 4pm. Social activities will also be organised during the week. Each day will consist of a set of lectures in the morning and practical sessions in the afternoon.

The CSC AI Summer School is kind to animals and kind to the planet. All catering is 100% plant-based, and we encourage all participants to travel by train or public transport. All educational materials will be available in a digital format only. 

Who should attend

The CSC AI summer school is aimed at operational NHS staff who are likely to help implement AI solutions into clinical pathways. This includes clinical scientists, data analysts and technically-minded clinicians. The summer school will equip you with the tools and the knowledge how to approach AI, and connect you with a network of others who are tackling similar tasks across the UK healthcare landscape.
